There was a gas leak on West Main Street in Washington last night.  Local authorities shut off all power on West Main and blocked all traffic from entering the street.  They were able to pinpoint the source to a home, where they shut the gas off.  According to the Washington County Safety Center the gas leak was at 320 West Main Street.

Those responding to the scene were the Washington Police Department, Washington County Ambulance, Washington County Rescue and Alliant Energy.  The call was received about 7:30 and incident was wrapped up by 9:20.
