Governor Terry Branstad is scheduled to make a visit to southeast Iowa later this week.  This appearance will be in conjunction with a formal dedication of Lake Belva Deer in Keokuk County.  The land which was first purchased and developed 35 years ago saw a park and lake completed in 2001.

The dedication is happening at the shelter located on the north end of the dam.  This dedication ceremony is open to the public starting at 4:00 this Saturday.  For more information, you can contact the Keokuk County Conservation Board at 641-660-8621 or their website.
