A grand opening event is happening tonight to celebrate new projects in Washington County.  A new trail near Marr Park and new campsites at Marr Park are nearly finished says Craig Capps with the Washington County Conservation Board.  He says when the trail is complete it will run from Ainsworth to around the lake at the Park.

These projects were funded by a grant from the state Department of Transportation as well as funds from the Washington County Riverboat Foundation along with Kauffman Memorial funds.

An open house for these new projects is tonight starting at 5:00 in Ainsworth, followed by a ribbon cutting at 6:00 in Marr Park.  To find out more information about the grand opening, contact the Washington County Conservation Center.
