Iowa Mennonite School avoided the rain and excessive heat during their Golf Outing this past weekend. Director of Development at IMS Larry Swartzendruber says the outing went well and attracted 49 golfers.

He explains that they hold the outing to benefit the Student Aid Fund, which helps those financially disadvantaged attend IMS. He adds it’s also a reason to get area golfers together.

Swartzendruber notes that they don’t have an exact total for the amount raised during the outing, but they usually bring in 2 to 3 thousand dollars.
