Lake Darling State Park is receiving funds from the Federal Government to be used toward upgrades.  Congressman Dave Loebsack tells KCII News that this funding will allow Lake Darling to replace the parking lot to accommodate the new lodge.

Tom Basten, Southeast Parks Supervisor says these funds are being given based on a matching amount from the State Department of Infrastructure funds.  The total amount being received is just under $124,000 from the National Park Service.
