A Learn at Lunch meeting has been scheduled for next week. Michelle Peiffer with the Washington Chamber of Commerce says this month’s meeting will feature John Mitchell, President of MD Orthopedics in Wayland who will be talking about his goal of developing a cheaper brace to treat clubfoot to be used on patients in third-world countries as well as the non-profit foundation he founded, On His Path.
She says On His Path is committed to bringing hope and support to those in need. The Learn at Lunch is happening a week from tomorrow from noon to 1:00 pm at the ISU Extension Office. The cost is $8 for Chamber members and $10 for non-chamber members. Reservations are due Friday by contacting Pat Dessner at firstname.lastname@example.org or 563-260-2068.
