The four-year anniversary of the devastating flood that affected Columbus Junction was recently, and the mayor is recalling the experience.  Mayor Daniel Wilson says during the event, he was surprised at the number of volunteers that came to help out in various ways.  He says they have a book with the list of volunteers that showed up.

Mayor Wilson says looking to today there are only two businesses that did not rebuild after the flood.  He notes the city is in “good shape” and they are fortunate to not be fighting the battles they were four years ago.
