The Mid-Prairie girls soccer team plays their first match in the regional tournament today. The Golden Hawks received a bye for the first round, and will face Burlington Notre Dame.

Mid-Prairie is 8-5 on the season, but have lost their last two games, while Burlington Notre Dame had to play into the second round and are 11-4, winning seven straight into the regular season.

Burlington Notre Dame has 50 goals on the season and has allowed just 15 goals on 145 shots, while the Golden-Hawks have 63 goals, but have let in 43.

The winner of this match will play the winner of No. 1 ranked Assumption and Fairfield.

Mid-Prairie and Burlington Notre Dame face off at 5:00 p.m. today in Wellman.
