Mid-Prairie will be holding a Board of Education meeting this evening. At the meeting the American Legion will be present to talk about their desire to turn Mid-Prairie’s central office into a legion post.
The Board will also accept dairy and fuel bids. And according to Superintendent Mark Schneider the interesting thing this year is that they will not be taking bread bids, because the school has decided to bake their own bread for the school year.
There will also be discussion held on the Super Conference mandate from the Iowa Department of Education; something that Schneider says has raised a lot of concerns in the district.
