The Mid-Prairie girl’s soccer team plays for a chance at state today against No. 1 ranked Davenport Assumption.

The Knights have scored 21 goals in their first two rounds of play, and have a two time Gatorade player of the year and qc time athlete of the year award winning in Rose Ripslinger.

Head coach Bristol Harris said it’s not just Ripslinger they have to worry about though, as the entire Assumption team is a risk of scoring.

Harris added that the game will be a game of outlast more than outscore.

The Golden Hawks are 9-5 while Assumption is a perfect 18-0. The game will be at Davenport Assumption tonight at 5 p.m.
