Columbus Community School District got a new addition this past week. With former superintendent Rich Bridenstine retiring, Marlene Johnson was chosen by the district to fill the vacancy.

Johnson has worked previously as a Principal, most recently at Fort Dodge and Manson Northwest Webster.

The new superintendent says she hopes to fulfill the board and the community’s vision for the district.
