The public is invited to an open house tonight to hear about the future growth of Washington. Washington City Administrator Brent Hinson says tonight’s meeting is a follow up to one held in February where the Washington Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee talked about the vision for the next 20 years in Washington.
The last time the city’s Comprehensive Plan was updated in Washington was in 1998. Hinson says the Comprehensive Plan update started in October of last year and the committee is close to their goal of being completed with the Plan.
This open house begins at 5:30 tonight followed by a presentation at 6:00 in the Washington Public Library.
