People in the downtown might have experienced a quick blink in their power this morning.  According to Justin Foss with Alliant Energy, the outage occurred at 8:40 this morning and lasted one to two seconds.  He says the outage affected 550 customers in the downtown area.  Foss notes upon investigation, crews did not find a cause for the outage.
