Primary Election Tomorrow

Voters will be heading to the polls tomorrow to choose candidates in their party for the November general election.  There are many contested races in both political parties for national and local races.  There are two Republicans and Democrats running for a spot on the ballot for US Representative in District 2.

Statewide races include two Republicans for Iowa House District 78, while District 84 is an uncontested race.  Three Democrats and two Republicans are running in Iowa Senate District 42.

Local races include two Republicans and one Democrat trying to secure a place on the ballot for District 1 Supervisor.  In District 2, two Republicans are vying against each other for the seat and in District 4, there are two Republicans and one Democrat hoping to win.
