Principal Reflects on First Year in Washington

The principal of a Washington Elementary School is looking back at his first year on the job.  Adam Miller, Principal of Stewart Elementary says he had a goal to learn the students’ names, build a relationship with the staff and get to know the families at the school.  Miller who graduated from Washington High School in 2000 came from Pleasantville where he was the Elementary principal for three years.

Principal Miller adds as the school year starts, he will meet with the staff and set a collective goal to reach by the end of the next school year.  He notes it has been enjoyable seeing some of the kids over their summer vacation as he has attended different events around town.
