The number of registered Republicans from this month’s primary show a change than the number registered in May.  According to Auditor Dan Widmer, out of the more than 13,000 voters, more than 5800 of them have chosen to be a Republican compared to the nearly 2900 listed as Democrat.  He notes these totals include those that changed party affiliation at the polls during the Primary.

These changes reflect an increase of 364 Republicans and a drop of 71 in the number of Democrats.  Widmer adds the number of no-party voters also fell by 269.  This is a change from the nearly 4900 residents listed before last month.
