Washington County’s Relay for Life is holding their annual 5K/10K run and 1 mile walk/run tomorrow. Sara English, with the Relay for Life says it’s not too late to sign up for this event. This race brought in approximately $3000 last year and around 130 people took part.
English says race packets can be picked up during the Farmer’s market tonight beginning at 5:00 and registrations are also being accepted at 5:30 tomorrow with the race starting at 6:30. This is the sixth year for the race and the third year for the 10K run.
The event is $25 for adults, $15 for those 18 and younger and $15 for cancer survivors as well. KCII will be at the race festivities playing music and announcing the start of the race with the Big Red Radio.
