The Washington School Board held a special meeting yesterday to discuss resolutions.  The first resolution was to direct the sale of 700-thousand dollars of a school equipment purchase note.  This note will be spread out over four years and will cover the cost of computers for all high school students as part of their one to one initiative.

The second resolution was to approve and authorize a purchase agreement for that purchase note.  The interest rate for this note will be at two percent.

Approval was given regarding the approval of a tax exemption certificate as well in order for the district to achieve the low interest rate.
