The Washington City Council adopted an ordinance changing the water rates at their meeting last night.  This ordinance amendment results in a zero net effect for customers this year while the city reallocates the rate percentages.

The Council also passed a resolution authorizing a change to the loan and disbursement agreement with the Iowa Finance Authority. A new amount of a loan note is more than 16 point three million dollars.

A resolution was passed to set a public hearing for the July 18th meeting of proposed plans, specifications and a cost estimate for a street improvement project.   This project is for work on South Avenue E from Tyler to Sitler Drive.
