Hamakua Place in Washington is getting ready to celebrate a big anniversary on Saturday. Deb Bodensteiner with Hamakua says they are inviting the public to celebrate their fifth anniversary by taking part in a silent auction and a pork loin dinner along with a pie-eating contest, face painting and carnival games for kids. She says the evening will be capped off with a concert on the square performed by the group Saved on Sunday. Bodensteiner says their crisis housing facility is having an open house as well.
The activities start at 2:00, the pork loin dinner begins at 4:00 with the concert beginning at 7:30. To find out more information, contact Deb at Hamakua Place.
