The Louisa County Fair will include a car race this evening. Gates will open at 5:30 for the Corn Belt Clash held at CJ Speedway on the Louisa County Fairgrounds. Hot laps are at 7 and the races start at 7:30.
There are four classes including Stock, Mod Lites and IMCA Sport Compact and 24 cash prizes, with the first place winner receiving $3,000. This is the first in a 3 night race circuit.
Susan Pretz, Secretary and Treasurer for the fair, says that weekly racers at CJ Speedway will most likely be apart of these contests. The races held tonight will be in lieu of the regular ones held Friday night.
