Riverside is getting closer to the implementation of a neutering program in an attempt to curb the amount of feral cats within the city limits.
At last weeks City Council meeting Paws & More asked that they get the money up front for their Trap, Neuter, Release Program. The Council decided to pay half of the $1,000 they agreed to pay for the program, the rest will be billed to the City afterwards. The vote was 4-1, with one council member feeling that they should wait until after the work is done.
Paws & More has set the date for July 16th.
