The Washington Demon softball team not only wrote themselves into the schools history books with the highest finish at the state tournament this year, but set a few new records as well.

The Demons broke five school records, along with placing many into the top 10 of all of the categories except stolen bases.

Maddie Bohr eclipsed the old record for most runs in a season of 44 by 12, scoring 56 this year.

Lauren Vittetoe put her name at the top of the list for a couple of records, just beating out teammate Kaitlin Buchholz in both Most RBI’s with 54 and most doubles with 18.

Stephanie Fishback also took a record for extra bases, hitting seven triples this season, and Grace Redlinger sits alone at number one on the honor roll for most home runs in a season at five.

Combined, this years team appears on the honor roll 30 different times
