State government officials have scheduled a visit to southeast Iowa tomorrow.  A public meeting is being held by Governor Terry Branstad and Lieutenant Governor Kim Reynolds highlighting the severe and moderate drought being seen across the entire state.

Also at the meeting will be officials from the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management as well as the USDA.

Discussion will revolve around the latest information and how coordination is being handled between state and federal officials.  The public is invited to share their thoughts and concerns tomorrow morning at 9:00 in the Mt. Pleasant High School.
