Hot weather will continue over the area today and Wednesday prompting the National Weather Service to issue a heat advisory from noon today through 7:00 tomorrow evening.Highs today will range from around 90 to near 105 with afternoon heat index readings as high as 110. Wednesday will be breezy and hot, with temperatures exceeding 100 degrees over most of the region. A cold front will bring relief in the form of cooler temperatures and widespread showers and thunderstorms Wednesday night.
