The Kalona City Council increased pay for some city employees at this weeks meeting. At the meeting the Council performed their annual review and approved the pay raises.

According to City Administrator Ryan Schlabaugh 15 employees will see wage increases at roughly 2.5%. The increase affects city staff and library staff. Five of the library employees are part-time and will see their hourly wage increase.
