The City of Keota has approved applications for Washington County Riverboat Foundation grants. The group “Step in the Right Direction” is requesting funds to cover part of the cost for a lift at the pool. The lift will help with those who need extra assistance getting in and out of the pool. In addition funds are being requested to be used to purchase vintage type posters with frames to be hung in the library. Both applications were approved at the last Keota City Council meeting.
