The Washington County Fair is getting ready to wrap up today but not before a few new items take place.  Don Lewis with the Washington County Fair Board says besides the usual events of the 4-H and FFA Tug-A-War at 1:30 and the Barnyard Ag Olympics starting at 2:30, some of the new activities include a barbecue cooking contest and horseshoe pitching tournament.

He notes the cooking contest was brought back after not taking place for a couple of years.  The horseshoe pitching begins at 4:00 followed by the cooking contest at 5:30.

Lewis says the Washington County Fair draws in over 10,000 in attendance with the different events that take place throughout the week.
