The results are in from the Mock Election held at the Johnson County Fair.

In the presidential race 59% voted for another Obama term in the White House, while 33% chose Republican Mitt Romney. In the US Representative race, Dave Loebsack received 60% of the votes over Republican John Archer. Also 67% of those who voted said yes to the Justice Center Bond.

This year’s turnout of 984 voters was the second highest of the 13 mock elections sponsored by the Johnson County Auditor’s Office since 1999.
