The Washington Public Library has seen positive response from their summer reading programs.  Debbie Stanton with the library says as of the last week of June 43 kids had read over 500 minutes which comes out to 358 hours of reading time.  She says because of that success, the program has been extended into the month of July to coincide with the Olympic Games.

There will be different books on display related to the Olympics along with books that will be read in the program related to the Games.  To find out more information and to sign up, contact the Washington Public Library.
