Have you thought about ever leaving a note to a future generation? A project happening in Washington is taking notes for such an occasion. Craig Swift with Studio 909 in Washington says notes are being accepted to be part of a time capsule. He says this time capsule will be inside a new bronze head bust of George Washington that will be unveiled at the Farmer’s Market in September.
The time capsule is set to be opened along with the current capsule inside the concrete base of the statue on July 4th, 2076 as part of the country’s tri-centennial. Slips for leaving remarks are available at the Washington Public Library until August 14th.
