An update has been given on the water treatment improvements in Wellman. A public hearing on the projects status and the amount of funds expended was held at this weeks City Council meeting.
The work on the north half of Circle Drive is done and the project is continuing on 6th Avenue and Golf View. To date almost $790,000 have been spent, out of the more than $1,580,000 the project was bid at.
The water treatment improvements are half way done and should be completed by September 30th, excluding the work leading up to Wellman Elementary School, which is to be completed by August 15th.
