The Washington County Fair continues today with the day being Senior Citizen Day. The day will start with a sheep show this morning followed by the horse and pony show and rabbit show.  The activities continue in the afternoon at 1:30 with the Pet show followed by the breeding beef show at 4:00.

Zeb Fisher from the 4-H County Council explains that the members of the Bows and Bullets 4-H Club are providing an archery booth this week as well.  He says this is where kids can come and try out archery for free.

Fisher says they decided to offer this event as a way to get their club out in the open as well as teach people the proper techniques for the sport.  The archery booth is available from 4:00 to 7:00 each afternoon.

The highlight event of the day is the rodeo which takes place at the Grandstand at 7:30 tonight.  Fireworks will follow the rodeo.  Join us at the Fair as we will continue to be there with the Big Red Radio from 10:00 to 7:00 all this week.
