The Washington Demon baseball team will try to make it to State tonight when they play Williamsburg in the sub-state final. Last time these two teams faced off in the middle of the season, the Demons came out with a 9-2 win.

The Demons are hitting .318 with a .417 on base percentage. Their pitching staff continues to get better with a sub 4.00 ERA at 3.85, and opponents are hitting .225.

Williamsburg’s offense matches well with a .321 average and a .414 on base percentage. Their pitching staff on the other hand is open for runs with an ERA of 4.07 and opponents hitting an outstanding .271 off their pitching staff.
