A candidate for Iowa’s 2nd Congressional District plans to push Southeast Iowan principles if he’s elected. John Archer says Iowa needs a leader that will represent this part of the state in both agriculture and small business.

He adds that he’d like to reduce the amount of regulations on small businesses. Archer shares that if Senator Grassley, Governor Branstad and Lt Governor Reynolds can visit all of Iowa’s 99 counties in a year, he can visit the 24 counties of the 2nd District four times a year.

Archer attended the Republican National Convention this week in Tampa, Florida.
