Area organizations can start their projects after receiving funds from The Washington County Riverboat Foundation.  Some of those able to work on projects include the Washington Public Library for technology and library programs, Hospice of Washington County is receiving funds to go toward fulfilling end-of-life wishes and the City of Brighton received a grant to help with cemetery grave stone repair.

The Washington County Riverboat Foundation announced 53 different grants totaling almost $98,000 at its presentation Wednesday night.  The Mini Grant program is designed to reach applicants who have a small project they would like to complete in their communities.
