Changes to Ordinances as Part of Washington City Council Meeting

Possible changes are coming to Washington that could affect the future of the city with a public hearing being held tonight.
The City Council is set to hold a public hearing tonight regarding an annexation of property.  A first reading of an ordinance will be conducted for a no parking space near North 2nd Avenue and East 3rd Street.

A second reading of an ordinance for a no parking zone on North Avenue E from West Main Street to West 2nd Street is happening as well. The Council is also considering an engineering services agreement regarding work on South Iowa Avenue as well as consideration regarding a resolution for the 2012 seal coat project.

The Washington City Council meeting begins at 6:00 tonight in the old public library.
