The cause of a crop duster crash from a year ago has been released.  According to the National Transportation Safety Board, the crop duster crash happened approximately 5:45 the evening of Wednesday, August 3rd last year.

The report shows the plane was forced to land following a loss of power near Washington.  The pilot, Michael Hayman of Leland, Mississippi reported the plane’s engine stopped producing power shortly after takeoff.

The report shows no preimpact irregularities during their investigation to explain the loss of engine power and only the pilot suffered minor injuries.  Read the entire report.
