The Washington Chamber of Commerce is holding its annual “Educator Appreciation Breakfast” next week at the High School in Washington.  Chamber Executive Director Michelle Peiffer says the event allows the community to show its direct appreciation for the educators at St. James and in the Washington Community School District.

She adds local businesses pay for the breakfast, making it free of charge for the almost 300 teachers, support staff and school aids.  The “Educator Appreciation Breakfast” begins Monday morning the 20th at the Washington High School.
