A camp held at Iowa Mennonite School this summer gave the musicians the opportunity to compose their own music. Susan See the Resident Piano Instructor at IMS, says three kids took advantage of the schools first Composer Camp held late July. Susan, who led the camp, shares they went over things like harmony, melody, repetition and sequence before having the kids produce their own music. She adds the kids were very receptive and enthusiastic and hopes to hold the camp again next summer.
