College students wanting to learn more about how the Federal Government works, have an opportunity to learn how.  Congressman Dave Loebsack has announced his office is accepting applications for internships in his offices in Washington, DC, Iowa City or Cedar Rapids.  He says these internships can provide a firsthand look into the government process.

College undergraduates or recent graduates working in Washington, DC will have the opportunity to learn about the legislative process and the federal government by working closely with the legislative, communications and constituent services staff members.

Those working in Iowa will gain knowledge about how a Congressional office provides services and interacts with members of the community.

Interested candidates should email their cover letter, resume, a short writing sample and a letter of recommendation to LoebsackInternship@mail.house.gov.  Please indicate which location you are applying for in the subject line.
