Jefferson County Shooting Leaves One Man Dead

A shooting in Jefferson County has left one person dead and the suspect in jail.  According to Jefferson County Attorney Timothy Dille around 7:30 Saturday night, a 911 call was received reporting a shooting at 2469 Marigold Boulevard.  Deputies responding found 32 year old Buddy Lee Frisbie dead as a result of multiple gunshot wounds.  Arrested was 33 year old Tyler James Webster of Fairfield who has been charged with first degree murder.

Those assisting the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office were Fairfield Police Department, Jefferson County Attorney’s Office, Iowa State Patrol, Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation, Jefferson County Police Reserves, Jefferson County Area Ambulance Service, state and local Medical Examiner’s Office, Washington County Sheriff’s Office and the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office.

A criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.  KCII will bring you more information when it becomes official.
