Now that the Washington County Riverboat Mini Grants have been given out, some communities are looking ahead to the fall cycle. At the Monday Keota City Council meeting, four things that the city needs were decided on.

According to City Clerk, Niki Osweiler, the city will apply for grants to be used for shade and portable steps at the pool, a generator to go with the hazardous litigation agreement with the county, which provides a safe house in the case of a natural disaster, and park equipment to replace some pieces that were recently torn down.
