Discussion of Washington County’s non-sewered communities was a part of this week’s Board of Supervisors meeting.  A review of funding options was held as a follow-up from last week’s meeting but no action was taken.

The Supervisors also talked about Eastern Iowa Honor Flight funding.  Michael Potter with Eastern Iowa Honor Flight says the flight has approximately 90 World War II and Korean War veterans participating and they have reached their limit on escorts.

They approved an agreement with the City of Washington regarding the urban renewal area for the Oakwood Village Subdivision.  They also passed a resolution to abate over $4100 in property taxes with the Washington County Treasurer.
