The Washington Public Library is letting parents know of events planned for days when children have a scheduled early-release day.  Debbie Stanton with the library says they are hosting different activities for children in Kindergarten through fifth grade.  She says the activities range from story time, playing games and making crafts.

Stanton notes teens are invited to the game club to earn volunteer hours by helping with these programs.  The activity days happen each scheduled “early out” day in the fall.  For more information and to sign up, contact the Washington Public Library.
