There’s an opportunity to meet a U.S. paralympian tomorrow in Fairfield. Matt Stutzman, who grew up in Kalona, is competing in archery at the 2012 Paralympics in London.
Stutzman is known as the “Armless Archer” and has garnered national attention, recently appearing on CNN’s “Piers Morgan Tonight”. He’s also broken the world record for longest accurate shot in archery, hitting a target 230 yards away.
He will be at the HyVee in Fairfield at 2 tomorrow afternoon and will be demonstrating his archery skills and will discuss his journey to the Paralympics.
