Lone Tree and IMS will face each other tonight in some Southeast Iowa Superconference volleyball action tonight.

The Lions are 2-5 after winning two games at their first tournament, but they dropped all four at the West Branch Tournament over the weekend.

Co-head coach Kelsey Tuebel says the girls are working hard on their serve receive to help with the attack.

Tuebel added that her girls are looking forward to this match, and not back at the West Branch tournament, and that there may be some bad blood with these two teams from a different sport.

“They might even be a little more excited, they have some beef with IMS from softball,” Tuebel said. “They really want to win, and practice last night went really well, and they’re just pumped to get into conference play and get our first game going.”

IMS is 1-2 coming into the match, but have not played since last week.

Lone Tree and IMS faceoff tonight at IMS at 7:15.
