Those interested in gardening or volunteering in their community have a chance to take part in a special training next month.The Iowa State Extension is offering a Master Gardener Training Program for anyone interested. Nancy Adrian with the Extension says this program has trained over 10,000 people in various aspects of gardening and was first started in 1979.
The classes which start next month offer a total 40 hours worth of web-based and face-to-face instruction. The classes will take place the Extension Office and one class will be on the ISU Campus. The deadline to sign up is Tuesday, September 4th. If you would like more information, contact the Washington County Extension.
