A special Mid-Prairie Schools committee has decided the fate of the central office. According to Superintendent, Mark Schneider, the Citizens Committee gathered early this month and put together their formal recommendation to demolish the current building and build new on the same site.

Engineering firm Shive-Hattery will present their ideas for the new building at the next school board meeting. Schneider adds that renovating the 40 year old central office did not make sense fiscally.
