The Obama campaign is spreading early voting awareness across Iowa this weekend. Yesterday supporters of President Barack Obama went door to door in communities across Iowa to register voters and talked about the differences between the President and his opponent, with an emphasis on taxes.
They also talked about voting by mail and early voting. Today the campaign will hold events to coincide with the opening of 30 new offices in Iowa.
Locally events are being held at 1 at the Washington County Democratic Headquarters in Washington and in Columbus Junction at 118 North Walnut.
